Merry meet all,
There has been a lot of talk about Shadow people. It has been connected to Sleep paralysis. For anyone who has experienced sleep paralysis, you can tell me. I can relate, as I have experienced it too. For me, it is usually terrifying. Sleep Paralysis is a state when your mind is awake and your body is asleep.
You can be sitting in your bed, wide awake, but unable to move even one limb. You feel as if a heavy blanket is covering you. The only thing the mind can influence is eye movements and breathing patterns. That is the secret to controlling this experience. It has been experienced by up to 60% depending on the population examined. It can possibly be a result of anxiety and stress.
When you are experiencing sleep paralysis, your brain thinks you are asleep, so it releases DMT in order to dream. This can result in a psychedelic experience and lead to astral projection. But while all of this is happening, you cannot move. So you feel fear and panic.
The fear and panic leads to you seeing demons and ghosts or other unsavoury creatures as you sleep. If you emit fear, then fear is what you will get. Creatures that feed off of your fear will appear. I can attest to this. You can avoid seeing something negative if you learn how to maintain a shield around yourself. A lot of people have asked me how to shield themselves. Think of a veil or shield around yourself. It can be a coconut, a beehive. a turtle shell, heck, even a loaf of bread. Just visualize it surrounding you to keep out evil and negative energy. Meditate to raise your shields and power up your vibrational levels to avoid that problem. If your shields are up, nothing can hurt you. Also, nothing can hurt you without your permission or enter you- this is if you are worried about a demon attack. Meditation helps with this.
Regular meditation, and I am guilty as charged for not meditating more myself, is good for you for a number of reasons. It reduces stress, clears your heart and mind of burden, and helps you sleep better. But if you are having problems while sleeping, then the above tips may help. Another helpful tip is to drink lavender and chamomile tea before you go to sleep. Or burn lavender incense. They are powerfully calming herbs. Reduce the amount of caffeine intake before you go to sleep.
Consider keeping a journal about your dreams. See if you notice patterns or if your sleep patterns are getting better and your negative sleep paralysis experiences are decreasing if you have followed the above information. It can help you to better understand what happens to you.
Hope this is helpful.
Blessings, Lady Spiderwitch )O(
