Merry Meet All,
It’s pouring rain here in Haligonia. I am munching on a slice of onion bread from the local Farmers Market. The toast tastes good after being soaked in the rain. I hope you are all warm and dry.
Autumn Equinox occurs on September 22, 2012. I know you are all eager for that. The moon enters Capricorn on that day and goes into second quarter in the afternoon. Be aware of being affected by lunar energy on that day. The sun enters Libra. There will be strong spiritual energy on that day and a good excuse to celebrate! Mabon is a time of balance. The hours of day and night then are equal. Mabon is known to some people as the Witches “Thanksgiving”. Feasts are held to show gratitude to the earth for providing green abundance.
On a different note, Word on the Street takes place on September 23. For those of you who don’t know about WOTS, it is an exciting annual book fair and festival. I never miss it. I always attend the festival. Check out book fairs and festivals in your area.
The full moon reigns on September 29th. The Celtic Tree of the month of Ivy begins on September 30th. September has lots to look forward to. I wish you all a merry month of activity.
